Sandy Martin, M.S.OTR/L
Sandy Martin, a long term resident of Baldwin County, is the founder of Sensory in Motion Therapy Services. Sandy has experience in the pediatric occupational therapy field and PICU and NICU experience after working at clinics in the Baldwin and Mobile county areas. She has advanced training in sensory integration through The STAR Institute and has earned a Level 1 Mentored Clinician Advanced Certification. She has also received advanced training to becoming an ADHD Certified Rehab Specialist. As a trained and certified practitioner of Integrated Listening Systems (iLs), Sandy is able to incorporate specialized techniques to develop sensory processing deficiencies. Her passion to help children extends beyond the office to her own home where she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. Sandy received a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of South Alabama and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the Pat Capps Covey College of Allied Health Professionals at The University of South Alabama. She is a current member of the American Occupational Therapy Association. |
